Local civil defence to combine
Civil Defence headquarters for Raetihi and Ohakune may be combined and become the Waimarino Area Headquarters, based in Ohakune, due to a lack of volunteers for the service. The Waimarino Community Board heard at their last meeting that the headquarters could be combined.
