Whakapapa Ski Instructor, Toni Grass, assists youngster Thomas Hughes (6), on the beginner's slopes at Happy Valley during midterm break. The experience was especially sweet for Thomas who, as a toddler, was paralysed after undergoing major heart surgery. Since the surgery Thomas hasn't looked back according to his proud mum, who was on hand during the lesson.
