Pipiriki School Form 1 pupil, Te Oriki Haitana, was recently selected as a member of the Southern King Country representative rugby team to play in the Goldfield's Tournament at Te Awamutu, this Sunday 8 August. His selection follows months of attending weekend trials in Taumarunui

before the final selection was made last week. Ricky is the first Pipiriki School pupil to represent the school at this level. His team plays South Waikato this weekend and will also play against teams fielded by Bay of Plenty, Thames Valley, North Harbour, Counties, North and South Waikato, and Northern King Country.
