Clown around

by

Shelly

Shearsby

Children of the junior syndicate of Raetihi Primary School were entertained by Walnut the Clown on Wednesday 14 July. Walnut the Clown from Auckland, is visiting various schools around the country. He entertained the children with various skits, songs, magic and making animals out of balloons. The children thoroughly enjoyed the performance especially the last item which was when Walnut turned a black and white picture of a rabbit into a real rabbit in his magic box. Some children enjoyed petting Peter the Rabbit after the show. Walnut went into some classes after the show to answer any questions that the children may have had. While Walnut was in the classrooms he showed the children how to do simple tricks.
