The Junior Class from Waiouru's Officer Cadet School began their 12 month course lastMonday with "Project Adventure' - a week long programme run by the Army Adventurous Training Centre. Project Adventure was a specially designed course aimed at introducing the new cadets to leadership, group bonding and personal challenges. During the week the Officer Cadets participated in such adventure activities as rafting (including building their own rafts), abseiling, tramping and caving. The programme was also used as a tool to introduce the Junior Class to some more military orientated activities including first aid, field craft and navigation.
