Communication

Ruapehu International T r a i n i n g i n Communication members have been involved in improving their communication skills recently. On Club nights members have learned through workshops a wide variety of ways of communicating. Three members from Council 8, Palmerston North recently attended the local club night with Jean Ennis conducting a workshop on evaluation. Keitha Journeaux and Valma Littlewood were guests at a Raetihi

Rotary Club meeting and spoke to members on 'how to make a speech'. They were then invited to try out the skills suggested. Keitha Journeaux was the club delegate to the New Zealand Conference held at Waitangi. She was pleased to report although Ruapehu membership was small attendance was good. Congratulations went to Keitha on gaining second place in the poetry section of the ITC New Zealand Writer's competition. Her poem was entitled 'Ballet'.
