Dangerous alternative

• It was this time last year, a beautiful day like today I grieved for the mother of three killed in a car accident on the intersection of Clyde Street and Raetihi Road. Mr Workman is trying to promote the Ruapehu region as an alternative to the Desert Road. How many more mothers of three need to lose their lives in such senseless car accidertts because of poor road markings? I see no visible signs of improvement to this intersection, it is in fact still very dangerous to anybody who doesn't know the area.
