Ohakune/Karioi playing at home were just too experienced for the young Taihape Pirates, taking the game by 50 to nil. Pirates played hard, trying not to make it tpo easy for the Strengthened Ohakune/ JCarioi squad. The free flowing game had surprisingly few penalties. Jason Hearn and Rock Josala Cokalbusa played well with determination for Ohakune. Tries - Lachlan Harding 3, Aisea Batibasaga 2, Mario M areikura 4 . Conversions - Lachlan ffarding 3.
