Netball results & draw
Rain held off for the netball on Saturday 29 May, with some very good games and close scores achieved in the A Grade competition. Teams are reminded that as from Saturday 5 June, there will be a $30 fine imposed on teams that turn up late for games, and that there will be competition as usual this Queen's Birthday Weekend. Results: Checkers, 31 vs College 3, 11; College 2, 51 vs College 4, 13; Transport, 27 vs College 1, 16; Ruapehu, 15. vs Karioi, 25; MG's, 24 vs Panthers 2, 20; Panthers 1, 21 vs United, 23; Seekers, 18 vs Waimarino, 15. Draw for Saturday 5 June: 9am - Seekers vs United, umpires Navy/Monica (court 1); Karioi vs College 1, Diane/Shirley (court 2); Transport vs Panthers 1, Anne/Allie (court 3); Ruapehu vs Waimarino, Anthea/Panthers 2 (court 4). 9.50am - College 3 vs College 4, Panthers 1/Eva (court 1); Navy vs Checkers, Liz/Bubba (court 3); Panthers 2 vs College 5, Rauna/Diane (court 4). The game between MG's and College 2 will be played on Saturday 12 June at 10.45 am. Rubbish duty team is Ruapehu College 3.
