Smallbore shooting results

Scores from the club night held on Sunday 24 May: R. Maclean 94.2. B. Mary 93.4, B. McGinniss 99.6 and 99.2, B. Evans 94.3. Club members have been shooting well in competition recently. Ken Summerhays was in the Wanganui number one team at the National Provincial Championships in Wanganui. He finished sixth overall. Donna McGrath, Michael Maru and Bob McGinniss were all in the Wanganui number two team which finished sixteenth. Ken, Donna, Bob, Michael and Russell were all in the Wanganui team that shot against Wairarapa a fortnight ago and the same five were in New Plymouth on the weekend, shooting for Wanganui against Taranaki. Ken was selected for the North Island team to shoot against the South Island and Donna is first on call for the North Island ladies team. On a local note the club is holding its annual business house shoot, with teams shooting over the week ending on Sunday 20 June. Anyone interested should contact Ken Summerhays at the Starline Service Station or Bob McGinniss in Tainui Street.
