Games night for babies
Remember Ohakune Plunket Quiz nights? Now the Ohakune Plunket committee are pioneering another entertaining evening for the Waimarino - 'The Great Games Night.' Plunket decided it was time to do something new and are hoping the community will support this novel venture. Going on past numbers at the very successful quiz nights they are optimistic for a good sized number of teams, and say it will be a fun night for all there.
For an entry fee of $12, teams of three will play various games. A delicious supper is to be provided and raffles will be sold. Spectators are welcome at a charge of $2 each. The choice of games will be a secret until the night, but organisers say there is a good selection to challenge and amuse. Entrants are asked to give their team a name and include a contact name and phone number. For more details see the public notices at the back of the paper.
