Junior Miss Raetihi's turn
There are many duties performed by beauty queens, but until now Junior Miss Raetihi, Whitney Penny, has been following in the wake of the adult Miss Raetihi. This Wednesday at the Raetihi School Gala Junior Miss Raetihi will take centre stage all on her own when she arrives at the gala in a sidecar, next to Reverend Peter Barnes. She will perform various duties as Jnr Miss Raetihi, including giving out prizes.
