ITC hears marketer

BY ]

MYRA

Crowley

The Ruapehu Branch of International Training in Communication (ITC) was addressed on Marketing by Sue Allomes, Chairman of the Ruapehu Business Association. Marketing is a human activity dealing with the needs and wants of others. It needs to provide the right services, right product, right price, right

promotion and right distribution. In relating this to ITC, Sue emphasised we had the product to assist everyone and the services provided training - price, not money, but time, promotion and distribution. Membership of Ruapehu ITC could be increased by the principle of Marketing. Members were involved briefly by

giving their definitions of SWOT - strength, weaknesses, opportunity and threats (SWOT). The meeting to celebrate the Centenary of New Zealand's Womens' Suffrage will have the theme Pioneer Women and guests will include local persons to talk about themselves. The venue will be the Lions Den on Thursday 25 February at 7.30pm.
