Te Kura Kaupapa o Manu Korero and the Board of Trustees, Ohakune Primary school wish it known that a Kaupapa Maori School will commence at Maungarongo Marae, on 1 February 1993, for 5 and 6 year old children who have had 2 years Te Kohanga Reo experience. In 1993 the class will consist of 20 children, first to enrol will gain placement. The proposal is: To educate the children, according to the Primary School Curriculum, using the Spirituality and Maori Language, methods and dialect of the Whanganui Tribe. Enrolments at Maungarongo Marae, 18 December between 1pm and 3pm and Friday 29 January, lpm to 3pm.
