Grocery trip
By
David ofRIC
Shirley McDonough and her husband returned from a trip to Christchurch that they had won in the Price Cutter/Ansett NZ Elite Mystery Weekend com- j petition, run as part of Graham Fredrickson's recent joining of the grocery chain. The number of locals who entered staggered him. "There were heaps of entries. A large boxful was sent to Christchurch for the draw', he said. For every $20 spent shoppers received an entry form. Leaving from Palmerston North, the couple travelled to Wellington, then onto Christchurch arriving at 8.30 am on Saturday and spent two days sight seeing which included a helicopter ride over the city. The pilot was an old friend of the couple, (their best man). "It was glorious weather too," said Shirley who thanked Graham and Pricecutter and also Ansett New Zealand for the opportunity.
