Adult riding results
The Waimanno Adult riding club is one of the smallest riding clubs in NZ, yet it probably has the best ratio of passes for Riding Club Certificates. On the 25 -27 September seven more candidates added to our impressive list of certifcate holders. Most of our members are people who have only taken up riding in their late twenties or even older. These certificates provide a great sense of achievement to those who attain them. The Riding Club Assoc. was created to foster a greater knowledge and standard of riding and care. In the Waimarino Riding Club, over 60% of our members are not competitive riders. Most are people who enjoy trekking, being around horses or have children involved in horse sports. Anyone can join the WRC, even if you don't have a horse. The next meeting is on 19 November, 7.30pm at Evelyn Cooper's residence at 52 Goldfinch St Ohakune. The following is a list of people who reccived certificates. Riding and Horse Knowledge Stage 1 ; Sandy Robinson, Adrian Maru, Juanita Brausch. Stage 1&2 Nikki Barton, Joanne Marama, B J Moffatt. Horse Knowledge and Care Phase 1 ;Nikki Barton, Juanita Brausch, B J Moffatt, Sandy Robinson, Adrian Maru. Phase 2; Graeme Hill, Joanne Marama, Jenny Kinloch.
