Plunket appeal
Plunket committee members and helpers will be out collecting in the Waimarino from Tuesday 13 to Monday 19 October for the annual PlunketKaritane Appeal. All money collected is kept and used in this area, so the Waimarino benefits from your support. Last year the area total was $1,600, up from $1,407 the year before, which the local Plunket committees feel shows the continuing generosity and caring of the Waimarino people.
Donations can be left at your local chemist in Ohakune or Raetihi if not collected. Plunket does not charge for the services of home visits, clinic appointments or Karitane help, but appreciates families donating towards costs. Also help on the committee or auxiliary is essential to keep Plunket caring for the mothers and babies of the Waimarino. Plunket Volunteers work together to manage
