The Approved Change removes the Railway Purposes designation on Sunshine Settlement and changes the underlying Rural zone to Residential A. The Council has also resolved that the Change 92/4 shall become operative on 1 October 1992. Copies of the Approved Change are available for inspection at the offices of the Council at Manuaute Street, Taumarunui, Miro Street, Ohakune and Seddon Street, Raetihi and may be inspected at those places during normal office hours. CONTRACT 145 MOWING AND VEGETATION CONTROL COUNCIL PROPERTIES 1992/94 Tenders are invited for the mowing and vegetation control of five Council Properties situated in the Taumarunui Ward, and two in the Waimarino Ward. Tenders close at the Ruapehu District Council, Huia Street, Taumarunui at 4.00pm on Friday 16 October 1992. Tender documents are available from Council Offices in Manuaute Street, Taumarunui, and Miro Street, Ohakune. , No late or faxed tenders will be accepted. SPECIAL ORDER: TAUMARUNUI WATER SUPPLY LOAN 1992 - $1,500,000 Public notice is hereby given that at its meeting held on 18 September 1992 the Council resolved by way of Special Order pursuant to Section 716B of the Local Government Act 1974 to raise the above loan. The Special Order will be submitted for a confirming resolving at the next Ordinary Meeting of the Council to be held in the Council Chambers, Huia Street, Taumarunui on Friday 30th October 1992 commencing at 11.00am. The purport of the Special Order resolution is to raise and make provision for the repayment of the loan which is to upgrade the Taumarunui Water Treatment Plants and the Water Reticulation System and Reimbursement of the General Account for amounts expended for this purpose. The cost of servicing the loan shall be met by the ratepayers whose properties are connected, or capable of being connected, to the j Taumarunui Water Supply Scheme. Copies of the resolution to be confirmed are deposited at Council Offices and Libraries in Taumarunui, Ohakune and Raetihi and are open for inspection by the public during the normal opening hours or those Offices and Libraries. Attention is drawn to Section 34A of the Local Authorities Loan Act 1956 which provides that not less than 15% of the Rate- ! payers of the District may demand under their signature, giving their name and address with sufficient particularly to enable the person to be identified as a Ratepayer of the District, that a poll be taken on the proposal.
