Ohakune badminton

Weather conditions on Sunday 23rd, saw all games for A reserve and B Grade being cancelled. Both teams were to play teams from Wanganui. Games will be played at a later stage, I will keep in touch with teams when we know when these games will be played. Thanks here to Kenneth for all the phone calls he made and also organising the games that were played. Ohakune 1 A reserve team played Ohakune 2 A reserve team, which had to be played at some stage. Some excellent games were played, Okn 1 beat Okn 2 by 10 points over all, games were even 4 each. Congratulations Okn 2

we played hard and I am proud of you all. Ohakune 1 members: Jocelyn Cranston, Kay Young, Vaughan Becker, Kenneth Young. Ohakune 2: Marie Cranston, Elayne Weller, Ned Wanoa, Brent Palmer. Ohakune Badminton Club are holding their annual tournament on the

11 and 12 of September. Anybody can play in Grades A, Reserve, B, C and D, as long as they are affiliated to a Badminton Club. The tournament will cover from T aumarunui to Wellington. Junction Ski Shop is sponsoring the Tournament this year. Next round for interclub B Grade 30 August.
