Book service

by

JULDB

Richardson

A new Christian book service has recently opened in the Waiouru Community Centre. The monthly service is operated by Christian Literature Crusade and is also open in Ohakune next door to the Bank of New Zealand and in Raetihi in the old Post Office building. Chris Angelo and Alan Welsh travel from their base in Ashurst. The service operates as

a shop, selling Christian books and other items. The Christian Literature Crusade is an inter-de-nominational, non-profit making organisation whose main aim is to bring Christian literature to places where none is available. Any proceeds from saies are used to expand the work in New Zealand and overseas. A new bookmobile service in Thailand and a bookshop in Bombay, India, are recent additions to the organisation.
