Horse Sense

• I am concerned at the speed drivers pass horses being ridden. As many riders live in town they must use roads to exercise their horses and to get to farmland etc. It is only common sense to slow down when passing horses. Horses are very sensitive animals and get frightened easily. As I have a horse I know how dangerous it can be just riding round town. Now many younger riders will be getting their ponies out and about on the road and it would be nice if cars, motorbikes and especially large vehilces would slow down and give a little bit of consideration to riders and ponies before a serious accident occurs from a spooked pony. Concerned.
