ITC

The installation of new officers for the International

Training in Communication Club recently took place. The installing officer was Val Merwood from Taihape ITC Branch. - She chose the theme Touch of the Olympics' and all incoming officers were given parts of a large jigsaw in which the incoming President Margaret Cornwall was given the first item of jigsaw pieces, "to work and put a frame around". In her inaugural speech, President Margaret encouraged members to be outgoing, inform and communicate with the community, and have a new dimension of what members can do. A workshop for committees, boards of trustees and all interested persons is to be held on 12 August, at the Ruapehu College Library at 7.30pm conducted by Jenny Tolhurst, Donna A'Court and local ITC members.
