Badminton

Ohakune fielded a team in the Waikato-hosted annual combines event in Te Kuiti on Saturday. Ohakune Club's representatives were Brent Palmer of Waiouru, and Marie Cranston of Raetihi. In their grade they won six out of 10 games which was good enough to win third place. A strong Hamilton/Te Kuiti team took 1st place with straight sets and a Te Kuiti team took second.
