Ladies golf

Di Deighton 'burnt up' the course again in last week's golf. Her handicap was reduced from 3230. She also won the extra Ladies Golf Union prize and the Golf Magazine Trophy. C Greenwood and D Herewini came into their own and tied for the 4th putting with 31 putts. E Goldfinch and N Winter had 2's and P Mcllroy won the raffle. The Waihape Silver team lost their game at Palmerston North on Monday 12 July.
