since a meetmg was held in March this year. New President Mrs Leslie Todd has gathered a band of dedicated individuals around her and the project of fund raising has begun in earnest again. Chills Off are running housie evenings every Thursday evening at the primary school hall, with 40 houses being played each night, with a 'super house', which has averaged approximately $150 each ilight.
The committee will be running quick fire raffles at Raetihi's market day on 18 July. Negotiations are still being held wi'th a Wanganui architect over the design of the building construction and costings for the project. Various other fund raising activities are currently being considered and it is hoped a programme of events will shortly be announced.
