Raetihi ideas day planned

A campaign to gather ideas from the grass-roots level of Raetihi is being planned. A group of Raetihi people are working with Community Employment Group organiser John Wise, to set up a "planning day" for Raetihi. They are working towards a date in August, probably a Sunday, when Raetihi people will be invited to join in a planning day, to "brain storm" ideas for boosting Raetihi's prospects for the future. The group working on the campaign, to be called "Rise Up Raetihi", say they will be "self destructing" group. That is, once the day has been run and the ideas brought forward, they will cease to exist as a group.
