First Aid

Thirteen people recently successfully completed their Comprehensive First Aid Certificate with Waimarino Red Cross. The course was completed over nine weeks of Wednesday evenings in March and April at Raetihi School. Rose Joyce, Mana Taura, Judy Munn, Maureen Fowlie, Shelley McCarthy, Charlie Maru, Linda Keith, TeWhaiora Butler, Bill Herewini, Ann Stuckey and Susan Talbot of Raetihi, with Tini Mitchell and Jennifer Cossar of Ohakune all received their certificates last week. "It is good to see so many people supporting the first aid classes and gaining such useful knowledge," said as Red Cross spokesperson. Waimarino Red Cross will start their next course in Ohakune next month.
