Waiouru cheque rumour check

• I have just been informed of a rather nasty rumour that is presently doing the rounds at Waiouru. This is that we will not accept cheques from Waiouru customers. This is totally unfounded and is definately not the case. While I admit we have a large problem with 'bounced' cheques, these are from the total Waimarino area, not one specific area. We are doing all we can to try to minimise this problem and we are about to join an outfit called 'Chequemate' who undertake, for a fee, to collect all dud cheques. I any person can pass on to me the narne of the person who started this particulat rumour, I am sure an 'award' will be forthcoming. Alan Murdie Ohakune New World.
