• Police would like to hear from anyone who saw people near an Austin 1300 car parked in Whangaehu Road, near the marae, oii Saturday. Thieves stripped the car of its radio and all four wheels plus various other items. • On Friday night there were four attempted burglaries of main street shops in Raetihi. Locks on the stores were interfered with, but the offenders did not gain entry. • Police were called to the Ohakune Hotel twice on Friday night to evict a trespasser, a man who had been barred from the hotel. • On Saturday night a bike was stolen from Tawhero Street. • On Saturday night a brick was thrown through the window of the Raetihi veterinary clinic.
