Ohakune bridge
There were 16 players present for Bridge on Wednesday 6 May despite the conflict with the Annual Fashion Parade and live State-of-Origin Rugby League. The following are the placings after handicapping. First north-south were Ron Martin and Heather Cranston with 52.12%. In second place
were Betty Hammond and Rita Kaiwhare with 50.10% The east-west competition was won by Pauline Le Noel and Les Burns with a very good score of 65.65% and sficond place went to Jim Cranston and Tephany Bennett who scored 50.02%.
