Ladies golf

The competition for Sunday and Wednesday 6 May was 2nd Ladies Golf Union and 2nd Golf Magazine trophy and both were won by Sue Badley. The par for each hole is worked out on the number of strokes to the green plus two putts. So in conjunction with these two competitions is a putting round.

Theoretically one should only have 36 putts so for E Rush to win with 30 her putting was spot on. As promised handicap reductions J Taylor 17-16, N Cranston 17-16, S Badley 27-26, D Deighton 35-34. Golf balls for S Badley and L Eades for a two and three. Sue finished off a good day by winning the raffle
