Marketing manager starts Monday
Kuapehu District will have a marketing manager next week. Bruce Rollinson, a 23 year old university graduate, starts work on Monday 18 May. He is currently executive officer for Mt Cook Marketing in Timaru. He has a bachelor of commerce and management degree, with majors in marketing and business management. Ruapehu mayor Garrick Workman said his experience with the Mount Cook group was "very pertinent" to his new duties. He said Mr Rollinson's first test will be to develop a marketing strategy and prepare a marketing plan for the district. He is South Island born and raised, from a country area, is a keen rugby player and a fisherman and hunter, so he should fit well into the Ruapehu communities, said Mr Workman.
