Fire hydrants given once-over
Fire hydrants in Ohakune are receiving top priority attention, following discussion by the Waimarino Community Board recently. The board heard last Thursday that the council had carried out 50 per cent of the maintenance work, which included all the items of concern supplied by the Ohakune Volunteer Fire Brigade. The council plans to have all the work completed by the end of May.
