Quick meet
Less than 30 minutes was needed to get through the Waimarino Community Board agenda last Thursday evening. When the board was first formed meetings usually went for four hours, and often longer,
but since the laws on local authority meetings changed boards have had less to talk about. Boards can now only discuss matters that are on the official agenda, , unless it is against the public interest to delay discussion until the next meeting.
