Fashion show brings in the bucks
Fashion '92, Ohakune's self-pro-claimed 'social event of the year' proved very successful for fundraisers. Over $3000 was raised from the event, to be spent upgrading the adventure playground at Ohakune Primary School. "There was a great turnout and everybody seemed to really enjoy themselves," said one of the organisers, Rose Pepere. She said the event ran smoothly and the fashion shops were pleased with the way the show was run.
