"The present interim committee was set up by an enthusiastic group who have steadily worked over the past 18 months, looking at the demands and opportunities to promote the town and that might lead to job opportunities," said Mr Dobson. The present committee have made progress in setting up the Information Centre, and arranging the painting of shop fronts in the town, he said. The group has investigated job opportunities and new business opportunities in the town, from enquiries coming through the information centre.
