Country picnic day at National Park

National Park's country picnic day this weekend includes a 16kilometre fun run or cycle from Whakapapa to the township. As well as spot prizes a night's stay for two plus meals at the Chateau Tongariro is offered, plus dinners for two at the Chateau and the Skotel. For the children there is a 2km run around a course in National Park, also with prizes. A police fitness course/obstacle course will be set up for teams to enter and have a go. And there will be a whole range of other activities organised.
