On Wednesday 25 March the annual summer sports exchange between Taihape College and Ruapehu College was held. As in previous years there was great competition and sportsmanship between all teams. Results Games played at Ruapehu: Boys cricket win to Taihape; Girls softball win to Ruapehu; Boys volleyball win to Ruapehu.

Games played at Taihape: Girls cricket win to Taihape; Boys basketball win to Taihape; Girls volleyball win to Ruapehu; Boys softball win to Ruapehu. On Friday 27 March a group of 20 7th formers went to Wellington for the day. The purpose of the trip was for a guided tour through the Central Institute of Technology, showing the many options they have available to school leavers. Also this week with the winter season nearly upon us, the first Netball trials were held.
