Clean power price sought
Electricorp Marketing are to be told that King Country Energy wants a "clean" power price that reflects the actual cost of power without any distortionary incentives or rebates. General manager Peter Till told the March board meeting that a variety of offers had been made by Electricorp, including a "cap" to the proposed bulk power rise, plus another where marketing incentives would be paid. But the directors say they want a "clean" power price and they will decide what level of marketing they wish to carry out.
