Raetihi couple win Hong Kong trip

A Raetihi couple are the first people in the Waimarino to win a major prize in the annual Four Leaf Clover multiple Sclerosis apeal. Pat and Lionel West have won a $6600 trip to Hong Kong, with 11 nights accommodation, travel, and spending money. Thirty Ruapehu College pupils sold tickets around the area on 13 March, raising $1500 for the appeal. Six local prizes were awarded, to: G Hammond of Ohakune, J Brausch of Waiouru, C Dowsett of Ohakune, V Cotton of Waiouru, P Frew of Ohakune and N Fredricksen formerly of Ohakune.
