There was a good turn - out for the first night of the 1992 Bridge year. The 20 people present were welcomed by President Brian Eades and play commenced after a brief message, from director Ron Martin. Lauretta Eades and Pauline Le Noel won North - South with 63% and second were Ron Martin and Heather Cranston with 60%. The East - West competition was won by Ron Frew and Brian Eades with 59% and Rita Kaiwhare and Betty Hammond took second place with 54 - 50%
