Promise of best A & P show

Planning for the 81st Raetihi A & P Show is well down the track and organisers are hoping for fine weather as they ariticipate the best Show for years. A feature will be the presence of the DB Clydesdales and wagon which continuously tour the country. It is a coup for the Show to have this attraction in Raetihi for the day, say organisors. Secretary Bernice Frost said the trade display space is filling up
and any organisations or individuals wishing to display and sell their wares should contact her on 3854-894 or Anne Boyd 3854-057. Home brewers are reminded to start selecting their beer or wines for the competition. Each category for the beer, draught, lager and stout requires two bottles with wine being one bottle. Local rumour has it that last year's brewers already have their brews in the chiller. The event is on at the Raetihi Show Grounds, Saturday 15 February.
