Speech winners

The annual Waimarino International Training in Communications (ITC) prepared speech contest was held recently. Eight contestants took part which was very pleasing to the club. Valma Littlewood took 1st place with her speech titled "Peer Pressure". Keitha Journeaux and Margaret Home were in 2nd and 3rd places respectively. Judges for the night were Gay Fahey, Jane Voon and the Reverend Cox, who presented the Journeax trophy to the winner and certificates to the place winners.
