Mayor Garrick Workman receives a petition from Rangataua resident Peter Bishop last week, calling for more council action in the village. Mr Workman accepted that there was work that needed doing and assured Mr Bishop that progress wouid soon be seen. The petition called for more work on roadside channels, and for routine maintenance on the public roadways.
