Uniforms for Raetihi School

Raetihi School pupils will soon be able to wear the new school uniform, following the approval of the designs at last week's Board of Trustees meeting. The board has agreed to the uniform option to j help promote a pride in being part of the school and to offer a more economical way for parents to clothe their children in the present economic situation. Wearing the new uniform will be up to the individual pupil, and the various options will be modeled at the school' s athletics sports day on Wednesday. The uniforms are also on display at Waimarino Livestock in Seddon Street. Colours are Raetihi's green and gold and available is a crew-neck sweatshirt with track pants; a green hooded sweatshirt; gold T shirts, skivvies, polo shirts and tank tops; and green shorts and skorts (divided skirts).
