Families given food parcels

Giving food parcels to families in need has become a regular activity for the Waimarino Budget Service. One to three families per week are being given the food parcels to help

People have been very generous in giving goods at the collection points, said a WCSG spokesperson. She said the group was very grateful to the grocery shop owners and staff for their help in gathering the donations. Some staff and owners were making their own donations regularly too, she said.
