Waimarino Dressage day
Despite showery weather on Saturday 2 November, a good turnout of approximately 30 riders attended the Waimarino Dressage. Riders from Taihape to T aumarunui put their skills before three judges. Thanks went to the judge's writers, organisers and a special thanks to the judges, Pam Forrest, Jean Jones and Anne Roke. Diane Pritt was also thanked for the use of the paddock.
Results for the day were: Class I - Dressage - 12 years and under 1st Sally Williams - Silco; 2nd Karen Richards - Taralad; 3rd= Shelley Gotlieb - Hobo and Cushla Edgarton Bolero. Class H - Dressage - 13-15 years and open lst Dawn Workman - Dolly; 2nd Heather Cooper - Ascot; 3rd Victoria Duigan - Clover Crest Magic Man. Class in - Dressage - 16-20 years and open
lst Cathy Wakeling - Drum; 2nd Bernice Frost - Talisman; 3rd Evelyn Cooper - Jade. Second dressage tests were rode for the championships and although Waimarino Pony Club members only wero, eligible for the cups a few adults took part gaining ribbons. Results for the championship tests were, with first placegetters receiving cups: Class I 12 years and under lst= Kushla Edgarton
Bolero and Shelley Gotlieb - Hobo; 2nd Sally Williams - Silco; 3rd Nicola Smith - Pepper. Class H 13-15 years lst Kirsty Mcllroy - Spiderweb; 2nd Victoria Duigan - Clover Crest Magic Man; 3rd= Melanie Mitchell - Master Jubilee and Debbie Hill - Rebel. Class III 16-20 years and open lst Cindy Langdon - Alcazar; 2nd Cathy Wakeling - Drum; 3rd Christine Reynolds - Warrior
