Not more snow?!
The Bulletin received yet another "more snow" press release from Whakapapa last Thursday, despite being close to the very end of the ski season.
The release was the latest in a long line of items on various aspects to do with snow depths etc., and read simply: "15cm of new snow fell at Whakapapa ski area
on Tuesday night. The snow base depth level is still three metres. The spring skiing is magnificent. The ski season is open until 17 November."
