Health issues to be debated

Future health care for New Zealanders is being discussed at present all around the country and the Waimarino is no exception. A meeting for all Waimarino people is being held at the Raetihi School Hall tomorrow night, 7.30pm Wednesday 30 October. The meeting is to discuss various aspects of the health reforms and how they will affect the Waimarino. A submission to the government is being prepared on what core services should be provided for Waimarino people, and how they should be funded. Discussions at tomorrow's meeting will centre on these issues.
