The Ruapehu South Business Assocation awards for promotion of the southern Ruapehu area were presented by Ruapehu Mayor Garrick Workman on Sunday night to: (from left at back: John Laurenson - Ruapehu Coilege (NZ Secondary School Ski Champs organiser); Bob Norling (Main Trunk Rail Ohakune Inc); Bob Graves and Trevor Fredericksen (representing the Raetihi Information Centre); Andreas & Yvonne Hefti at front (New Zealand Winter Games), Karen Hawke (Ohakune Fire Brigade - organisers of the New Zeaiand Fire Fighters' Ski Champs).
